By helping us get it right for Burscough ...

Burscough Action Group was formed because of the lack of recognition by WLBC of the objection made by Burscough residents to the planned massive development of Burscough. Many local residents have been motivated to join this group and have a louder voice by sheer weight of numbers - why not join them?

The next meeting is at the Stanley Club at 7.00pm on Monday 1st Oct, all welcome!

We have launched a petition, our fantastic team of local residents and BAG members will be out and about in the coming weeks gathering signatures. The aim of the petition is to cover every house in Burscough, giving us the statistics to show the strength of local opinion against the developments. If any local residents would be willing to petition the people in the street or road where they live we would love to hear from them.

Ways that you can help

  1. Attend the BAG meetings and add your ideas and enthusiasm.

  2. Offer your services: You might have legal or planning expertise, or could be a seasoned campaigner good at fund raising, you may be able to supply a shop window for our posters or a counter for our petition, or would be willing to pass our petition around your friends and neighbours. All help is welcome ... please get in touch.

  3. Donate to the cause to help us fund professional help.

  4. Sign our Petiton online or download a copy and ask your family, friends and neighbours to sign it too.

  5. Make a formal representation to the Planning Inspector who will examine the plan and consider whether it has been prepared in accordance with regulations and is sound.
